With hot weather expected to continue throughout the weekend please remember to stay safe in the heat:- ✅ Keep hydrated Drink plenty of water regularly, even if you do not feel thirsty. Limit alcohol, particularly if spending extended periods outdoors or watching football in pubs. ✅ Avoid prolonged sun exposure Stay in the shade where possible, especially between 11am and 3pm. Wear suitable clothing, a hat and sunscreen. ✅ Beware of heat-related illness Symptoms can include dizziness, headaches, nausea, excessive sweating and confusion. Move to a cool place, drink water and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen.
